The valuation report (and survey if applicable) will be carried out by the valuer or surveyor who is an Incorporated Valuer or Chartered Surveyor and will be provided in accordance with the lender's instructions. If a Homebuyer report has been requested it will be provided on the standard form for a Homebuyer Report and valuation published on behalf of the RICS Appraisal and Valuation Standards 5th Edition. I/ we acknowledge that the standard conditions of engagement for the preparation of such a Homebuyer Report and valuation apply to this report. If a Building Survey has been requested, this will be provided in the format prescribed by the valuer/ surveyor.

The liability of Direct Valuations Limited shall be limited to ensuring that only qualified surveyors and valuers who are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or the Incorporated Society of Valuers and Auctioneers are instructed on my/ our behalf to undertake the valuation and/ or survey and to prepare the report and such surveyors or valuers have a minimum of £500,000 per incident Professional Indemnity insurance cover.
